Jennifer Lopez seemingly broke her silence for the first time since filing for divorce from ex-husband Ben Affleck on Tuesday.
The 55-year-old singer posted to her Instagram Stories on Friday, though fans hoping for details about her mental state or her split from the 52-year-old actor were likely disappointed.
Instead of sharing new content, JLo reposted a selfie she took previously that had been shared by a fan account.
The post in particular had me a little perplexed as it appeared to be from a photoshoot in December 2020, according to People.
Jennifer looked as glamorous as ever in the throwback photo, which showed her sporting thick caramel-colored curls cascading down her shoulders and chest.

The image appeared to be from December 2020, prior to her second romance with Ben, and featured a Christmas tree in the background.
She was dressed in a pale pink fleece jacket to suit the colder weather, and a Christmas tree could be seen peeking out in the back corner, confirming the photo was taken during the holiday.
Aside from the post, which Jennifer shared without comment or context, she has remained silent since filing for divorce.
It is worth noting that Jennifer filed the paperwork herself and did not have an attorney representing her, although she may have one in the future.
She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for filing for divorce.

Divorce attorney Chris Melcher told Us Weekly that although a prenuptial agreement was not mentioned in Jennifer’s divorce filing, that doesn’t mean the two didn’t have one in place.

“It’s not mandatory to mention whether you have a prenup or not,” said Melcher, who has no ties to Lopez or Affleck’s legal affairs. “I wouldn’t infer that you don’t have one just because it’s not mentioned.”
She added that divorce forms in California, where JLo filed, don’t even have a box to indicate the presence of a prenuptial agreement.
She indicated that the date of their separation was April 26.
Jennifer and Ben tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on July 16, 2022, but then tied the knot a second time in front of family and friends at Ben’s property in South Carolina on August 20, 2022, two years before she filed for divorce.
