Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s marriage ‘ended months ago,’ according to a new report.
The Hustlers star, 54, and the Argo director, 51, have been “separated since March,” according to a source who spoke to Page six.
Despite their marital problems, the source added that Affleck “is very protective of Jennifer.”
The couple, who have not been photographed together in almost a month, have been at the centre of split rumours for months and are said to be “on the verge of divorce”.

The house was listed for $65 million last month.
And now it seems some of the expensive stuff inside the two-story, 12-room white building, known as the Wallingford Estate, is being thrown out, too.

The lovebirds haven’t been seen together in public since June 2, when they shared an awkward kiss on the cheek at their son Samuel’s basketball game in Los Angeles.

The stars no longer live together; she resides in his $60 million mansion in Bel Air, California, while he stays in his $100,000-a-month rental located near his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
Affleck and Garner share three children: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.
“Ben continues to live in the rented house in Brentwood,” a source told the site.

Affleck has continued with his normal activities amid constant rumors that he is ready to divorce his wife, to whom he has been married for only two years.
“He’s been there for about two months now,” another source added.
“He seems to be doing well. He’s been in his office every day and seems focused on work. He’s also spending time with his children.”
Jennifer, on the other hand, seems to be trying to enjoy some fun this summer as she was spotted in Paris and then in Italy with close friends.
It seems that both are still in contact.
They have business ties: Lopez is set to star in two upcoming films for Affleck and Matt Damon’s production company: Unstoppable and Kiss Of The Spider Woman.
This comes a week after a source told DailyMail.com that Jennifer was “done” trying to make her marriage to Ben work.
Amid rumours about the state of the couple’s marriage, an industry source has now claimed that the pop star has reached her limit and no longer feels she can do “anything more” to save the relationship.
“Jenny has had enough and she’s really tried but she can’t do any more, she’s not getting any better, she’s getting worse,” a music industry source told DailyMail.com.

The source added that the main reason J.Lo left her husband was because he was always “grumpy and negative” like Oscar the Grouch from Sesame Street.
Jennifer is sad about the end of her nuptials, but “is trying to make the most of it by working out, spending time with her twins Max and Emme, and making new plans for 2025,” they continued.
One of those new plans is to resume her This Is Me… Live tour in the summer of 2025, when she turns 56. She canceled the 2024 tour that was scheduled to begin in July to “recover.”
“She’s excited to go on tour next year when her personal life is calmer and she can connect with her fans. She’ll bring her tribe with her and make the most of the opportunity,” the source said.
Lopez is also said to be “shocked” by the bad press she has been receiving, which she believes is not fair.
“If people could see what she’s really been through, they’d be more lenient with her,” the source said.
“Ben is a great guy, but he can be grumpy and depressing. I think the world saw him in pictures like when they were at the Grammys last year; he wasn’t smiling. If they saw what he was really like, they wouldn’t attack her,” Jennifer’s friend said.
“He chain smokes, swears and seems irritated most of the time. He’s a great director and actor, but you don’t laugh much with him, you know?” the source said. “But he’s a wonderful father.”

There have been many reports that Ben and Jennifer will be announcing their divorce soon and they plan to do so on a Friday, which is the norm for celebrities who split.
When asked about this, the source said, “I think they wanted to wait until all the kids were out of school and finished with school plans and all that before they made their big announcement. They’re putting the kids first.”
She has Max and Emme with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.
As for how Jennifer and Ben are getting along these days, the source said they are being “cordial” with each other.
So what happened to the once jovial Ben who used to smile at fans and kiss Jennifer in public? The source points to pressure on Ben’s career.
“She’s filming Accounting 2 right now and the hours are really long, she’s working hard and it’s a lot to juggle with marriage and kids,” the source said. “So she’s not in the best mood at times.”
Meanwhile, Lopez cleared her schedule this summer to give herself some time off to reexamine her life.

“Of course Jenny is sad, she loves Ben, but they are too different, there is no mutual concession, there was no fusion, they are just on separate paths.”
The source added that Jennifer gave it her all: “She really tried hard to make it work, but it just didn’t work out.”
“She put in a lot of time and energy, and I think he did the same. There’s no one to blame here. It just wasn’t planned. It’s very difficult for two big stars to maintain a marriage, one has to compromise, and in this case neither of them compromised.”
The couple’s love story began in 2002, when they dated during the filming of the movie Jersey Girl. They got engaged the following year, but split in 2004. They then rekindled their romance in the spring of 2021.
The duo tied the knot in a Las Vegas ceremony in July 2022, followed by a lavish wedding at their Georgia estate in August 2022.
