Ben Affleck’s best friend Matt Damon had a “long, deep conversation” with Jennifer Lopez at the premiere party for her new film Unstoppable, it is claimed.
Damon, 53, and Lopez, 55, proudly posed together at the premiere that same night during the Toronto International Film Festival.
Affleck, 52, who co-produced the film with Damon, did not attend the star-studded event on Friday amid his ongoing divorce from Lopez.
Damon, who has reportedly been a major source of support for Affleck during the collapse of his marriage, is now said to have had a 20-minute one-on-one conversation with Lopez.
They were seen laughing together at the after-party, as well as having a more serious chat and even holding hands, a source reported. People.

At the premiere, held at Roy Thomson Hall, Damon and Lopez were seen proudly reunited for a glamorous group photo.
They mingled happily with Lopez’s co-stars in the film, Jharrel Jerome, Bobby Cannavale and Don Cheadle.
Both Damon and Lopez, who was glowing in a revealing dress, seemed to be enjoying themselves, with Damon even smiling in the group photo.

Despite going through the end of her fourth marriage, a source told DailyMail.com that the Let’s Get Loud singer was happy to “go to the Toronto Film Festival to promote this film because Unstoppable means a lot to her and she wants to support it.”
“It’s a very inspiring true story and she’s proud to be a part of it. Acting in the film was a highlight for her,” the source added.
“The film has been getting a lot of attention and Jennifer wants it to do as well as possible. She is very professional and always works hard to give her films the best chance.”

The project is from Ben’s production company, Artists Equity, which he co-founded with Damon.
Affleck and Damon are among the 14 producers of the film.
The film will screen in the Special Presentations section of the Toronto International Film Festival, followed by a limited theatrical release in December 2024, by Amazon MGM Studios.
