Jennifer Lawrence has revealed who she will vote for in the upcoming presidential election.
Speaking to People magazine, the Oscar-winning actress, 34, said: “I’m voting for Kamala Harris because I think she can protect reproductive rights,” adding that “the most important thing” is to “not let someone into the White House who is going to ban abortion.”
“Abortion is literally on the ballot,” he added.
She also responded to critics who called her ignorant for not finishing high school.
‘As online trolls like to point out whenever I get involved in politics, I didn’t go to school, I dropped out of high school, so I don’t have a classical education… So storytelling is where I get most of my education.’

The 34-year-old actress said the reason she will vote for Harris is because of her stance on reproductive rights.

Lawrence has been outspoken about her stance on abortion, having recently produced the documentary ‘Zurawski v Texas’, which tells the story of pro-choice advocates who sued the state of Texas in 2023.
‘Women are dying,’ said the actress People while discussing the film, which he says can “enlighten people’s idea of what abortion is and why certain people need abortions, and why it’s so important to keep lawmakers out of families and out of people’s doctors’ offices… These laws are made by random white men and they’re not made by health care providers.”
Harris has already received support from a number of high-profile celebrities.
The vice president received an endorsement from megastar Taylor Swift earlier this month, who announced her support for the Democratic presidential nominee just moments after the presidential debate.
On her Instagram account, Swift wrote: “I will be voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for rights and causes that I believe need a warrior to defend them. I think she is a talented and steady leader, and I believe we can achieve so much more in this country if we are guided by calm and not chaos.”
He also praised Harris’ choice of Walz as her running mate, commending him for “championing LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades.”
It comes weeks after Taylor Swift publicly expressed her support for the Democratic presidential candidate.

Additionally, singer Billie Eillish and her brother Finneas revealed their support for the vice president on X.
Last week, a data scientist who predicted the outcome of the 2020 presidential election predicted a landslide victory for Harris, dealing a blow to former President Donald Trump’s hopes of regaining the White House.
Thomas Miller, a data scientist at Northwestern University, said Harris will defeat Trump in a landslide, telling Fortune magazine: “She went from a landslide for Trump to a landslide for Harris.”
Miller first gained attention after accurately predicting the 2020 presidential election by unconventionally using betting markets rather than traditional polls to forecast the outcome.
He accomplished this by developing a model based on 16 presidential elections, which converted betting prices into projections of popular and Electoral College votes.
This model shows a close correlation between betting odds and early popular vote.
In September, Miller’s model showed Harris would have 55% of the popular vote, which would translate into a significant advantage in the Electoral College.
