The actress, who stumbled on her way to collect her Oscar in 2013, was pictured walking down the stairs of the Palais des Festivals in a pair of black sandals on Sunday.
The comfortable shoes were hidden under her red dress which featured an A-line skirt and a long train.
Jennifer, 32, found her head in her hands after tripping down the stairs while winning Best Actress at the Oscars in 2013.
The following year, she buckled up and fell to the floor while walking the red carpet.

Two years later, she tripped and lost a shoe as she left a dinner party to celebrate her film, Silver Linings Playbook, in London.
Her red dress and flip flops marked her second look of the day, after attending a photocall for her new documentary, Bread and Roses.
Jennifer, who wore a knitted cream dress, produced the film which explores the daily lives of three women in Afghanistan living under the Taliban regime.
“There is no end to this story and you feel pretty helpless when you think about how to do anything about it,” she said. “It’s a tough thing to market.”
The arrival of the militant political movement in Kabul in 2021 has had a disastrous effect on women’s rights in the country.
They were immediately stripped of any right to education as well as limitations on employment and their access to public spaces.

The story of resilience is described as “a raw and unsanitized depiction of the plight of women in Afghanistan”.
It particularly focuses on three women, who struggle to regain their identity and autonomy as viewers see the experience through their eyes.
Director Sahra Mani fled Afghanistan when the Taliban took over in the summer of 2021 and now lives in Europe.
Elsewhere at the festival, Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese were ready for a victory lap after their detective epic, ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ received rave reviews, as the festival prepared to bow down to Jude Law as king Henry VIII.
Scorsese’s latest installment, on a killing spree among oil-rich Osage Indians in the 1920s, was covered in words like ‘scorching’, ‘triumph’ and ‘masterpiece’ by critics who scored. the hottest ticket to the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday night.

Based on a non-fiction bestseller, the film sees DiCaprio as a weakling who marries a wealthy Osage woman and becomes embroiled in the murderous plans of his pivotal uncle, played by Scorsese’s other longtime muse, Robert From Niro.
IndieWire said DiCaprio gave “his best performance ever”, while The Guardian gave five stars for a “remarkable epic about America’s bloody birth”.
But the festival was already set for another glitzy premiere later in the day, with “Firebrand” starring Jude Law as 16th-century English king Henry VIII alongside Alicia Vikander as his sixth and last wife, Catherine Parr.
Alicia, 34, wore a peach dress adorned with silver hearts while Jude, 50, finished his look with a bushy mustache.
The film focuses on Parr’s story and how she navigated life at Henry’s court.
Jude wore a full bodysuit and had his cheeks padded to transform into a morbidly obese monarch, while makeup artists recreated the venous leg ulcers he suffered from.
Gigi Hadid and Carla Bruni were also in attendance, along with Irina Shayk who flashed her chest in a low-rise skirt.
