He was wearing a short black swimsuit and was shirtless, proudly displaying his striking back tattoo of several long, dark lines, which could resemble claw marks.
But DailyMail.com can reveal that the large ink is actually a drawing of the Finger Lake region in upstate New York, where his late mother Neilia Hunter Biden was born.

His consulting company, run with Biden family friend Eric Schwerin, Rosemont Seneca, takes the name ‘Seneca’ from a second finger lake.
Another of his companies used for his shady overseas dealings, Skaneateles, is named after one of the finger lakes in Onondaga County, New York.
Skaneateles is where his mother and President Biden’s first wife, Neilia Hunter Biden, grew up. She tragically died at age 30 in a car accident in 1972 along with her one-year-old daughter Naomi.
The couple died when their car was hit by a tractor-trailer while she was taking the children, including Hunter and his older brother Beau, to pick out a Christmas tree.
Hunter was just three years old at the time and was seriously injured along with Beau, who died of brain cancer in 2015.
His mother and sister are buried at Joseph on the Brandywine Cemetery in Wilmington, Delaware, where Hunter and the rest of the Biden clan visit each year to pay their respects.

Last week, Judge Mark Scarsi determined that the three felony counts and six misdemeanor counts of tax evasion could move forward.
This came despite Hunter’s lawyers appearing in federal court in Los Angeles last month to urge the judge to consider dismissing the nine tax charges brought by special prosecutor David Weiss.
The charges arise from what federal prosecutors say was a four-year scheme to avoid paying $1.4 million he owed to the IRS and instead use the money to fund an “extravagant lifestyle” that they allege by his own admission, it included drugs and alcohol.
The charges cover fiscal years 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Meanwhile, Hunter was also charged in Delaware with lying in October 2018 on a federal gun purchase form when he swore he was not using or addicted to illegal drugs. At the time he was addicted to crack cocaine and is also charged with illegal possession of the weapon. He pleaded not guilty in that case.
The Justice Department says Hunter faces up to 17 years in prison on tax charges and 25 years on weapons charges if convicted, in dual cases that could have a devastating impact on his father’s presidential campaign.
