Jenni Falconer reveals she was robbed by ‘guys on bicycles’ who pushed her over and picked up her phone while running in London
Jenni Falconer has revealed she was ‘pushed over’ and robbed during a run in central London last weekend.
The presenter, 45, explained that she had paused in Parliament Square to check a text message when the criminals left with her cellphone.
After trying to chase the group herself, Jenni was helped by some police officers who heard her scream and managed to pick up the phone.

She said The sun: ‘These guys on bicycles came up to me, pushed me and grabbed my phone. I chased them, but I would never catch them on my bike. ‘
Luckily for Jenni, there were a few police officers around who heard her scream behind the boys in an attempt to stop them.
Jenni explained: ‘[The officers] chased them, and I got my phone back! I want to say a huge thank you to those police officers. I am very lucky. ‘

Jenni, the face and voice of fitness app Start 2 Run, is often spotted touring the capital and regularly shares her outings on Instagram.
She took to social media on a hike in the mild weather on Friday as she currently has an injury meaning she can’t run as usual.
And last year she even suffered a stress fracture in her left foot while training for the virtual London Marathon, which forced her to abandon her plans.
Jenni isn’t the only star to have spoken of robbery on the streets of London in recent weeks, and Robert Rinder also revealed he was targeted in March.
The legal TV star offered a reward for the recovery of his cell phone after he was robbed became the target of three boys wearing balaclavas on bicycles in South Hampstead.

Rinder, 42, wrote on Twitter: ‘I just had my phone taken from my hands by three guys in balaclavas on bicycles (Finchley Road & Canfield Gardens).
They laughed as I screamed for it to be dropped. I am in shock but insured and privileged. Others are less fortunate. Help me find these people and stop them (financial reward). ‘
A Scotland Yard spokesman told MailOnline: ‘Police are investigating after receiving a report of theft on Wednesday, March 24 at approximately 8.40pm on Finchley Road.
Three men dressed in black approached the victim and reached for his cell phone.
Investigations are underway. No arrests at this early stage. ‘
