Jenna Bush Hager posed with her oldest daughter, Mila, in sweet family photos taken while celebrating her 43rd birthday on Monday.
The TV personality, who is launching a new show titled Today with Jenna & Friends following Hoda Kotb’s departure, shared two selfies on her main Instagram page during the special day.
In one image, Jenna flashed a joyful smile as the 11-year-old stood next to her while holding a tray of delicious sugary pastries.
The star shares Mila, as well as Poppy, nine, and Hal, five, with her husband Henry Chase Hager, whom she married in 2008.
The author’s other children also joined the festivities and helped celebrate Jenna’s birthday.
The group gathered inside what appeared to be a kitchen and in another image, Jenna could be seen blowing out a candle that was placed on top of one of the cupcakes.

After officially turning one year old on Monday, the mother of three revealed the gift her children gave her during Today with Hoda and Jenna.
While speaking with Kotb during Tuesday’s episode, the media personality explained that she received a variety of birthday coupons.
‘They made me a sign where they wrote that they were giving me coupons each,’ said the journalist.
‘Hal’s was that he went to bed early. Poppy said “foot massage” but then changed her mind because she thought it would be gross to give me a foot massage and said “hand massage”.
Jenna added that Mila’s birthday coupon included a total of “Four free moments of babysitting.”
As she reflected further on the big night, Jenna told Hoda that her family made her “disappear” so they could surprise her.

Regarding the adorable family photos, Kotb said, “There’s something in that photo that you showed, which is what your life really is at the end of the day: It’s the five of you, the cupcakes, someone’s having a party.” meltdown.’

In the second snapshot, her son could be seen sitting on his mother’s lap with his head turned away from the camera.

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, Jenna talked about plans for this week’s special holiday.
‘The Wednesday before Thanksgiving, we’ll have a joint party for the kids. Don’t you think birthdays are kind to children? They will celebrate it. Mila wants to make a cake.
Jenna has already spoken openly about raising her children with Henry, and in August of last year, the topic came up on Today with Hoda & Jenna, according to Decider.
