Jelly Roll revealed that she recently surpassed her goal of losing 100 pounds

Jelly Roll revealed that she recently surpassed her goal of losing 100 pounds.

Earlier this week, the country star, 39, opened up about her physical transformation in an Instagram video while detailing her diet and grueling workout routine ahead of her Beautifully Broken Tour.

To lose weight, the two-time Grammy nominee took up boxing, basketball and stadium walking.

“That’s why next year, when they see me, they won’t recognize me,” he said. “I’m going to get under a bunch of weights like I’ve never done before.”

He continued, “When I see you all in March for Canada, man, you won’t recognize me.”

In the same recording, the Son of a Sinner hitmaker’s chef Ian Larios noted that his client’s favorite pre-show snack is a banana topped with Manuka honey, stevia and dark chocolate shavings.

After her performance, Jelly enjoys Nashville hot chicken, which the nutritionist has been making healthier by “removing the oil and batter.”

The chicken is then served with bone-in French fries, which “increases the protein in it, but also gives it that nice crunch, because we air fry it.”

“So trick your brain into thinking this is, like, that delicious, greasy Nashville fried hot chicken. “You will feel like you are eating at home,” he added. ‘It’s healthy. It’s air fried. It’s full of protein and helps you stay on track.’

Larios raved: “That 100-pound weight loss goal from last tour is huge.”

In April, the singer, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, admitted he had been “really kicking ass” on his weight-loss mission.

‘I’ve probably lost 70 pounds. I’ve really been kicking shit, man. I do two to three miles a day, four to six days a week. I do 20 to 30 minutes in the sauna, six minutes in a cold bath every day. “I’m eating healthy right now,” she told People.

The Save Me star went on to say that while she already feels “really good” about losing weight, she still planned to lose “another 100, 100-something (pounds).”

“If I feel this good at this weight, man, I can only imagine how I’ll feel when I go on tour,” he predicted.

Jelly has been touring the country on the Beautifully Broken tour with Warren Zeiders and Alexandra Kay, which kicked off in August.

The tour will take him across the United States until October 27, when he will play the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Over the past year, Jelly also attributed his healthier mindset to his wife Bunnie XO (aka Alyssa DeFord), who was by his side cheering him on the entire time.

The couple first met at one of their 2015 concerts in Las Vegas and then married the following year with their two children at their side.

Jelly is also the proud father of daughter Bailee, 15, and son Noah, seven, both from previous relationships.
