Recently engaged Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez have a long way to go before they can settle into their marital home in Beverly Hills once they return to the United States after their whirlwind European vacation aboard the Koru.
Exclusive photos from DailyMail.com show the former world’s richest man has resumed construction of his huge Beverly Hills estate, with men seen hard at work on the mansion he bought for almost 175million dollars.
But with a long way to go, DailyMail.com can reveal that the couple will return from their odyssey to bed down at the Malibu compound of famed financial guru and Kardashian fund manager, Lester Knispel.
The beachfront home is the perfect private oasis for Bezos and Sanchez to hide away as they prepare for their upcoming nuptials.

Meanwhile, the couple may be roughing it on the sprawling Knispel beachfront estate above until they can move into the Beverly Hills property.

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez appeared in Cannes on Monday night in their first public outing since formalizing their engagement

The Bezos estate includes a three-story main house, a guest house, a gym, a pergola and a guard house. He had planned to expand the property with a new pool house, powder room and retaining walls

Bezos, 59, paid $175 million for the 10-acre property – which was previously owned by former Warner Bros. chairman Jack Warner – in 2020.
It has a main house with three floors, a guest house, a gym, a pergola and a caretaker’s house.

But in April, it was revealed that the expansion of the megamansion had been put on hold indefinitely after Bezos failed to complete a planning application for a new “playground fence”.
Bezos had planned to expand the property with a new pool house, powder room and retaining walls.
A first request was granted in 2021, but Bezos submitted a new request to add a “playground fence with lighting” in January this year, but it was refused because the documents were incomplete.
The original request called for approximately 1,000 square feet to be added to the 28,000 square foot mansion.
But it appears to have been sorted as construction has already resumed.
The megamansion is just one part of Bezos’ vast real estate profile, estimated at $600 million, as he splits his time between properties with Sanchez.
Also in 2020, he shelled out $10 million for the neighboring Beverly Hills home.
He owns four separate apartments in an art deco building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side and in 2016 spent $23 million on a Washington DC mansion, three years after buying The Washington Post.
The property – which is in the upscale Kalorama neighborhood – was once the Textile Museum and is in the same neighborhood where the Obamas and Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump lived.

Knispel’s beachfront home is the perfect private oasis for Bezos and Sanchez to hide away as they prepare for their upcoming nuptials. Knispel was the Kardashian fund manager as well as Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj

In March, Sanchez posted a photo of herself and Bezos outside Knispel’s house, with the caption: “Right before the Versace fashion show in LA with my favorite person.”

DailyMail.com revealed this week that the Amazon boss popped the question to his Emmy Award-winning journalist girlfriend aboard his $500 million superyacht named Koru.
But until they could move into their Beverly Hills home, the newly engaged couple reached out to Knispel, who has served as the Kardashians’ as well as Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj’s fund manager.

DailyMail.com revealed this week that the Amazon boss popped the question to his Emmy Award-winning journalist girlfriend aboard his $500 million superyacht named Koru – a Maori word for unfurling fern.
The couple were seen kissing and lounging on board throughout the weekend, while Sanchez, 53, struggled to conceal the rock that shone on her ring finger – sparkling proof that she said “yes”.
The newly engaged couple were seen off the coast of Mallorca and Cannes, where they are enjoying a Mediterranean odyssey and the maiden voyage of Bezos’ half-billion dollar superyacht.
At 417 feet long and 230 feet high, Koru is one of the largest sailing ships in the world with a 250 foot support vessel that has its own helipad.
The couple traveled to Europe on a private jet and were first seen on the deck of the yacht last weekend.
