Jean-Claude Van Damme ‘looking for real estate on the Gold Coast’ as the action star prepares to move from Down Under

He is known as ‘The Muscles from Brussels’.

But Jean-Claude Van Damme wants to move to Down Under, with the 60-year-old action star researching real estate on the Gold Coast, according to realestate.com.au.

Gold Coast real estate agent Alex Fleri told the website that the Universal Soldier star is looking for a beachfront mansion in the tourist hotspot.

Fleri, a former stuntman, also told the outlet that Van Damme is ‘looking for a movie here in Australia’ later this year.

The Kickboxer star will then be seen on screens in the Netflix movie The Last Mercenary, before voicing the character ‘Jean Clawed’ in Minions’ sequel The Rise of Gru.

If Van Damme moves the Gold Coast, he will simply be the newest Hollywood star to adopt the Sunshine State.
