A jealous girlfriend allegedly stabbed her boyfriend to death after he greeted another woman on the street.
Natacha Palavecino, 32, attacked her boyfriend Mariano Grinspun, 22, on Monday in González Catán, a town in Buenos Aires, authorities said.
Police sources told Clarín that Palavecino plunged a kitchen knife into Grinspun’s chest after he greeted the unidentified 22-year-old woman, whom Palavecino also stabbed in the armpit, forearm and left hand.
Disturbing surveillance footage showed Grinspun and Palavecino interacting on the street, with the injured boyfriend eventually collapsing.

Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene, where Palavecino remained and was detained by police.
Grinspun’s father, Ramón Grinspun, told television station El Trece that Palavecino tried to stab his son in July, but refused to file a police report.
“We went to report him, but he didn’t want to report it because he loved her,” the father said.
Instead, police issued a protective order prohibiting Palavecino from being 984 feet inside Grinspun.

However, Grinspun vowed to save the relationship and never asked the police to renew the restraining order.
“He wanted to have a family with her, start a family with her, but it was something sick, both for her and for him,” Ramón said. “You couldn’t form a family with this violence.”
“We found out that he slept outside the door, like a tied dog, that she had him like a little animal,” added Ramón. “She tied him up and made him sleep outside.”
A neighbor told El Trece that Palavecino used to hit Grinspun.
“She attacked him with stones, pushed him, spit on him and treated him like a dog,” the neighbor said. “This woman did not love him, she treated him like a toy and a servant.”
Palavecino, who faces a murder charge, was sentenced to one year in prison for stabbing an ex-boyfriend in 2021.
