As vice presidential nominee JD Vance steps into the spotlight after being selected as former President Donald Trump’s 2024 running mate, the campaign is setting the record straight on a number of issues, including his height.
Google search results identified Vance’s height as 5’7″, which appears to be a significant underestimate of his height, based on his record in the Senate with his colleagues.
To set the record straight, a campaign official sent a photo of Vance standing next to former President Trump, who his White House physician says is 6’3″.
The spokesperson sent the following photo to DailyMail.com, noting that Trump and Vance were “of similar height.”

This is not the first time that online search results have been wrong about the height of a prominent political figure.
Vice President Kamala Harris complained in a recent interview with Katie Couric that Wikipedia listed her height as 5’2″.
“That’s absolutely incorrect. I’m 5’4″ and 10″,” Harris said coldly after Couric reported that she was 5’2″.
“They just want to make us smaller in every way,” he lamented.
Harris added that she was 5’7″ when she wore heels.
“I told my team this, I don’t know where it came from, I haven’t been 5’2″ since I was 12,” she said, clearly frustrated that the online misinformation hadn’t been corrected.

If elected vice president, Vance would be the tallest vice president I can recall.
Former Vice President Mike Pence is 5’9″, Biden, who was vice president under former President Barack Obama, is 6’1″. Former Vice President Dick Cheney is 5’8″, and former Vice President Al Gore is 6’2″.
