Senator JD Vance lashed out at Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear for wanting a family member to get pregnant through rape.
The Republican vice presidential nominee slammed Beshear for a “disgusting” comment he made the night after he spoke about protecting abortion rights on the first night of the Democratic National Convention.
“Get him through this,” Beshear said on MSNBC Tuesday morning.
Vance responded on X with: ‘What the hell is this?’
“Why would Andy Beshear want a member of my family raped?” she asked, adding: “What a disgusting person.”

Beshear was the keynote speaker addressing the protection of abortion access at the convention’s first meeting on Monday.
She spoke after three different stories were shared about women who needed to terminate their pregnancies for various reasons.
One woman, Hadley Duvall, has spoken out about becoming pregnant at age 12 after years of sexual abuse by her stepfather.
“Trump says the nationwide abortion ban is a beautiful thing. What’s so beautiful about a child having to carry her parents’ child in her womb?” Duvall said onstage at the United Center on Monday.
