Brittany Mahomes was mysteriously left out of NBC’s coverage of the Kansas City Chiefs’ home opener against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night, and Jason Whitlock criticized the network for omitting her.

Brittany, the wife of Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes, has been at the center of a fierce controversy in recent weeks after fans saw that she had liked a Donald Trump post on Instagram last month.

Her apparent support for the former president sparked a meltdown among liberals, while Taylor Swift’s legion of die-hard fans predicted the end of her friendship with the pop megastar, who has publicly condemned Trump in the past.

As the Chiefs kicked off the new NFL season with a 27-20 win over the Ravens, Swift, who was at Arrowhead to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce, made several appearances on NBC’s live broadcast while watching the game from the stands.

Meanwhile, Brittany did not appear even once despite being present.

Following his snub on the broadcast, conservative sportscaster Whitlock took to X to question why NBC had done that.

He wrote: “Has NBC shown or talked about Brittany Mahomes? Or is it now illegal to acknowledge her?”

In addition to being omitted from the NBC broadcast, Brittany did not sit with her best friend Taylor at Arrowhead despite being inseparable at Chiefs games last season.

This comes after Swift’s fans begged her to snub Mahomes after… She appeared to endorse Trump in the upcoming US election.

As they took their seats on NFL Opening Night, the two appeared to be in different suites. Swift took her usual spot in Kelce’s luxury box alongside the tight end’s family and friends. She was snapped sitting next to Kelce’s parents, Ed and Donna, in the first half.

Mahomes, on the other hand, was sitting with her adorable daughter Sterling Skye in a different suite while cheering on her husband.

Travis Kelce's girlfriend Taylor Swift made several appearances on the broadcast while sitting away from fellow Chiefs WAG Brittany.

Swift has previously backed Trump’s rivals, though she has also accused him of “stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism,” “feigning moral superiority” and “threatening violence.”

But Brittany appears to be rooting for the Republican candidate and the former president took to Truth Social to thank the WAG for her support earlier this week.

“I want to thank the beautiful Brittany Mahomes for standing up so strongly for me and for the fact that MAGA is the largest and most powerful political movement in the history of our now failed country,” he said.

Kansas City began its bid for a historic third straight Super Bowl victory with a thrilling 27-20 win over Baltimore, which thought it had tied the game with zero seconds left on the clock.

That was before tight end Isaiah Likely’s toe was ruled out of bounds after catching Lamar Jackson’s pass, meaning the Chiefs instead walked away with the opening victory.

The Ravens drew first blood with a series of surgical plays in the first quarter that showed there were no lingering effects from last season’s loss in the AFC Championship Game to the Chiefs.

Their star offseason signing, Derrick Henry, showed why John Harbaugh was desperate to bring him to Baltimore, blasting his way through the Chiefs’ defense to score the first touchdown of the new season.

But new recruit Andy Reid tied the game on the Chiefs’ opening drive. Xavier Worthy’s speed was too much for the Ravens’ defense as he burst through a hole for a touchdown in his first NFL start.

Two field goals by controversial kicker Harrison Butker gave the Chiefs a 13-7 halftime lead before extending their lead in the third quarter when Isiah Pacheco was pushed over the line.

However, on the first play of the fourth quarter, Isaiah Likely caught a pass from Lamar Jackson and ran down the sideline. It looked like Chiefs safety Bryan Cook was ready to make a tackle, but some good footwork from Likely allowed him to get around the tackle and into the end zone.

The Ravens may have cut the deficit, but their efforts were in vain as Mahomes threw a perfect pass to a wide-open Worthy, who ran for his second touchdown in a dream NFL debut.
