Jason Statham has revealed that he has ‘such a crack’ with Guy Ritchie because he gets to improvise on set.
While other directors are less open to actors chipping ideas, the 53-year-old film hardman gushed that Ritchie, 52, is “ always able ” to allow actors to try out their own ideas.
The duo are currently teaming up for the fourth time in action-romp Wrath of Man after great success together in the crime comedy Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.

Jason said, “I remember the first movies I ever made with Guy Ritchie, we did Lock Stock and Snatch, and he was always up for little lines or bits of improvisation.
‘I haven’t done that since then, but it’s a great way to work because you get new things. It’s priceless when it comes off and it’s good. ‘
The actor, who shares son Jack with his 10-year-old model partner Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, 33, also explained that the script can limit the amount of improvisation.
Jason said, ‘Several movies I’ve been in are very driven by, you know, I don’t say much or it’s very difficult to improvise in those situations and have varying rules because a lot of alternative rules don’t work within the context of the story.
