Jason Momoa discusses his rivalry with Australians as he reveals the one thing he can’t bring himself to do
Jason Momoa has a long history with Australia.
But on Thursday, the American actor, 43, told the Announce sunthere is one thing he will always be against.
The Game Of Thrones star joked that he will not support Australia in the Bledisloe Cup after spending time with Taika Waititi, Cliff Curtis and former All Black captain Tana Umaga over the weekend.
“I’ve always been against you,” he joked.
‘I mean these are my cousins, I mean Maori and Kanaka Maoli (Native Hawaiians) – we are one and the same. They’re just the smaller version of Hawaiians.”

The interview comes after Jason was set to host Shark Week on the Discovery Channel.
The actor was announced on Wednesday as the host of the annual ocean showcase during the pre-presentations for Warner Bros. Discovery in New York City.
“As the host of Shark Week, I’m beyond excited to take you on this journey,” the Aquaman star said in a statement.

Jason said the “project means more to me than a week of talking about sharks,” as he will delve into his personal “connection to these amazing creatures.”
He added, “My love for sharks started way before my time as an Aquaman – it started several generations before me.”
Jason will preside over the showcase’s 35th year and will feature prominently in the segments, which will feature previously unexplored water locations.
