Jason Manford has revealed he was stuck on the tarmac at Manchester Airport for hours in a Christmas nightmare.
The comedian, 43, was due to leave Thursday morning for a trip with 15 friends, but his plans were delayed.
Taking to social media, James shared a sad-looking selfie while sitting on the plane after its departure time.
He wrote: ‘Paddle tennis holiday with 15 friends ruined by bad weather at Manchester Airport! I’m still sitting on the tarmac for this 9.30am flight.

Both runways were closed for almost an hour from 9am, with passengers delayed, stuck on planes or diverted to other airports amid “significant levels of snow.”

The airport later said in an update: “Our runways are now open, but as a result of the previous closure, some departures and arrivals may still experience delays.”
The closure marked the fourth time in five days that Manchester temporarily closed its slopes due to snow causing travel chaos in Britain this week.
Passengers were warned to expect flight disruptions as at least 14 departures and five arrivals scheduled to operate at the airport today have been cancelled.
The airport also closed both runways on Tuesday between 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., on Monday between 6:30 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. and on Sunday between 6:15 a.m. and 9:45 a.m.
England shivered through its coldest night of the winter so far as temperatures in Shap in Cumbria fell to -11.2°C (11.8°F) early this morning, while the UK low for today was – 12.4 °C (9.7 °F) at Tulloch Bridge in the Highlands.
It comes after Jason reflected on his experience as a single dad following his split from his first wife Catherine.
The host appeared on Jessie and Lennie Ware’s Table Manners podcast, where he discussed the adjustments he had to make after the breakup of his first marriage.
Now married to producer Lucy Dyke, Jason candidly shared how he had to “learn all these things my ex-wife had done” while raising his children.

Jason married Catherine in October 2007 and they had four children together before separating.
During the podcast, the group discussed how much time parents spend with their children, noting that by the time a child turns twelve, parents have spent 60% of the total time they will spend with them.
Reflecting on his own experience, Jason said: “For a long time, certainly early in my childhood, my older kids’, I would watch old videos and stuff, where, as I describe it, it was there, but I wasn’t present.
When Jessie asked, ‘When did you change?’ Jason responded, “I think I heard the sixteen summers phrase and I just… (makes vomiting sound).”
She continued: ‘I also went through a divorce and suddenly I became, you know, when I had them, we were like 50/50 with the kids there, and I suddenly thought, ‘right, what do I do?’
‘I’ve been working all the time and suddenly I had to learn all these new things that my ex-wife had done.
“I remember having to go to the local hair salon and saying, ‘Can you show me how to do girls’ hair?’ because he hadn’t done it.”
Lennie then asked, “So you can do a French braid?” Jason replied, “Once in a while I can do a little ballet bun.”

In 2012, Jason poignantly admitted that his relationship with Catherine “disintegrated” because he didn’t give her enough “care and time.”
The comedian admitted that their union didn’t get the attention it deserved because he was too focused on work and supporting his children.
He told the Mirror: “My first marriage really fell apart based on my theory of, ‘I don’t want my kids to have the childhood I had.’
“So I was working all the time and I didn’t give that relationship the care and time that it deserved and needed.”
Jason, who grew up in a council house in relative poverty, continued: “It’s only now that I’m starting to realize that I’m not going to give my children the childhood that I had,” which is good in one respect, but bad. in another.
“Because I got to spend a lot of time (with my parents) and we laughed with my parents.”
