Jason Kelce has been confirmed to join ESPN’s coverage of Monday Night Football following his retirement from the NFL.
“Monday Night Football just got even better, congratulations @JasonKelce,” read a statement on the official social media account for the Kelce brothers’ hit New Heights podcast.
He arrived shortly after The Athletic first reported that the former Eagles center was moving into the broadcast booth.
Kelce retired earlier this year after a Hall of Fame career that saw him spend 13 years in Philadelphia and win the Super Bowl in 2018.
His next move was the subject of intense speculation and, according to The Athletic, several networks were pursuing the 36-year-old.

Kelce previously appeared as an analyst on Amazon Prime’s Thursday night broadcast.
NBC, CBS and Amazon would be among those interested in hiring Kelce, who already offers his opinion on football in weekly episodes of New Heights.
But ESPN has won the battle for his services, and Kelce is expected to be part of the ‘Monday Night Countdown’ pregame show.
This despite Kelce previously appearing as an analyst on Amazon Prime’s Thursday night broadcast. He and his wife Kylie also filmed a documentary, ‘Kelce’, on the streaming service in 2023.
It represents another blow for ESPN, following the news that former Patriots coach Bill Belichick will join the network as a weekly guest on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ during the NFL season.

Nick Saban will also serve as an analyst on ESPN’s ‘College Gameday’ following his retirement from Alabama.
Meanwhile, Kelce spent part of his bye week in Chicago last November, serving as a guest voice on coverage of Panthers vs. Bears.

“It was an amazing experience, shout out to Amazon, it’s really an honor that they allowed me to do that and be a part of the broadcast.”
