Jason Kelce marked his final appearance on ESPN Monday Night Football before Christmas in style on Monday night, dressing up as Santa for the New Orleans Saints vs. Green Bay Packers.
Earlier in the day, ESPN host Scott Van Pelt shared a photo of himself dressed as an elf alongside Kelce as Santa Claus, but Van Pelt was back in his suit for the broadcast. Kelce was still wearing his festive outfit.
Kelce’s outfit caught the attention of his NFL superstar younger brother. Travis, a three-time Super Bowl player for the Kansas City Chiefs, reposted Jason’s photo with two laughing and crying emojis.
And he wrote: ‘Let’s go!! I’ll have to tune in for this one!’
Kelce was also filmed handing out cheese to Packers fans who had arrived early at Lambeau Field for the game, in reference to Green Bay fans being nicknamed “cheeseheads.”
Kelce’s ESPN teams have generated some scrutiny before now. In his first week, he misplaced his travel bag, so he bought a T-shirt for his debut show that was a little too small.
She joked about her misfortune, saying live on the opening broadcast that “my breasts are still fighting.”
Jason joined ESPN earlier this year after tearfully announcing his retirement from the NFL after 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Meanwhile, Travis is likely watching from his home in Kansas City while getting some rest before the Chiefs’ Christmas Day game in Pittsburgh against the Steelers.
The Chiefs are 14-1 on the season and a win on Christmas Day would secure their spot as first in the AFC.
