Jason Kelce risked the wrath of Cowboys fans after labeling Dallas “the hole and the armpit of America” in an on-air joke.
The former Eagles center was part of ESPN’s pregame crew ahead of the Monday Night Football game between the Cowboys and Bengals.
Monday also featured “The Simpsons Funday Football,” in which Bart “joined” the Bengals and his father Homer “teamed up” with the Cowboys in an animated version of the game.
Before kickoff, Kelce and the other analysts on the ESPN broadcast were portrayed as Simpsons characters.
The show is set in Springfield, which, as ESPN host Mina Kimes noted, is known, among other things, as “The Armpit of America’s B***-Crack.”
When the cameras panned back to footage of AT&T Stadium, Kelce – who was in Dallas – was heard saying “America’s hole and armpit too.”

It sparked outrage among his colleagues on the panel, who tried to drown out Kelce’s comment.
‘It was just a joke! Because of what Mina said,” the former center insisted. “Was it?” his co-hosts asked.
Former NFL defensive back Marcus Spears – who played for the Cowboys for almost a decade – was seen sitting next to Kelce while shaking his head.
“We’re having a good time here, I love Dallas,” pleaded the former Eagles star, who was accused of only “digging” himself a deeper hole.
Kelce moved into broadcasting and other ventures after retiring from the NFL in March.
Earlier this week, the ex-Eagles star was spotted driving through the streets of Philadelphia in a golf cart modified to look like an Eagles football helmet.
In a second video, Kelce was seen waving goodbye to the golf cart before attempting to perform a U-turn.
He ended up crashing the cart by turning too sharply, causing it to flip and roll over.
