When Jason Donovan saw that a woman had collapsed near his London home, his first thought was to help.
Donovan, 50, had set out when he saw the woman unconscious on the sidewalk in Notting Hill.

Instead of continuing his run, the Australian actor came to her aid and was given directions from a 999 operator on his phone.
Donovan, who played Scott Robinson in the neighbors between 1985 and 1989, put his hand under the neck of the woman who had hit her head in the fall and brought her to the recovery position as a crowd gathered.
He stayed with her after the ambulance arrived, holding her hand while she was being assessed.
