Former rugby league star and NFL player Jarryd Hayne has resolved a civil rape case filed against him by a woman in California.
The woman's lawyer, John Clune, announced to the US District Court on Wednesday that the trial was & # 39; voluntarily rejected & # 39 ;.
Hayne was accused of sexually abusing the woman in his California apartment in 2015 after meeting her at a bar while playing for the San Francisco 49ers of the NFL.

The woman is called JV in legal documents.
& # 39; Plaintiff, JV, notes that all claims, causes of action, counterclaims and defenses [sic] that the parties to this action have or may have have been resolved and are hereby voluntarily rejected with bias and that each party has its own fees and costs of lawyers, & # 39; declares the court of Clune.
JV asked for monetary compensation from Hayne.
The submission does not say whether a financial agreement was concluded.
