Jared Kushner has revealed whether Ivanka Trump will help her father’s campaign for the presidential election with less than a week to go.

Ivanka, 43, previously said she was stepping away from her father’s political work to “prioritize my children and the private life we are creating as a family,” after skipping the launch of Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign.

But with less than a week to go, and in the aftermath of Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally, where a controversial comedian made a series of racist jokes that alienated Republicans and infuriated Democrats, he was asked if he would join the cause of his father to support him in the eleventh hour.

But Kushner, speaking on her behalf as her husband, revealed that there is “zero” chance she will work to support her father.

he told the New York Times that Ivanka ‘made the decision when she left Washington that she was closing that chapter of her life.’ And it has been remarkably consistent.

Kushner also seemed to suggest that his family’s material circumstances would change little if Trump or Harris win on November 5.

While “obviously the world is going to be different for us in the next four years if your father is president,” Kushner said, he didn’t see “a major shift in terms of our priorities.”

“We support him; obviously, we’re proud of him,” he said. “But, you know, either way, our lives will continue to move forward.”

Her father assigned Ivanka two government jobs after she won the 2016 election, working as an advisor and as head of the newly created Office of Economic Initiatives and Entrepreneurship.

He was not paid for his duties nor given any benefits by the government.

Following his father’s loss to Joe Biden in 2020, he took a step back from politics and in November 2022, when his father officially announced his presidential campaign, he said he would not help him.

“While I will always love and support my father, I will do so outside of the political arena in the future. I am grateful to have had the honor of serving the American people and will always be proud of many of our Administration’s accomplishments.”

His half-sister Tiffany Trump also shied away from the campaign, and Trump’s wife, Melania, made only occasional appearances.

By contrast, the men in the family, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, frequently attend and sometimes speak at rallies and regularly represent their father at events and defend him in the media and online.
