January Jones has long had fans who believed she outed Ashton Kutcher as Hollywood’s worst friend after a 2009 interview, despite not mentioning him by name.
The Mad Men actress, 46, dated Ashton, also 46, from 1998 until about 2001, when they were both models for Abercrombie & Fitch.
During that time, January also dipped her toe into the world of acting.
In a 2009 interview with GQ, January spoke candidly about moving from modeling to showbiz, revealing that her then-boyfriend was not “supportive.”
She told the outlet, “The guy I was dating when I first arrived in LA was not supportive.
“He said, ‘I don’t think you’ll be good at this.’ So – f*** you!’

Although January never mentioned Ashton by name, many are convinced she was referring to him due to the timeline of their relationship.
During a 2016 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, she was asked if she referenced their romance in the chat, and she continued to play coy.
A viewer called and asked, “January, have you spoken to Ashton Kutcher since he said you couldn’t act and what do you think of his acting skills?”
Stunned by the question, January blushed, “Oh, ouch!”
“You said in an article in GQ that he said that about you, right?” host Andy, 56, then chimed in.
To set the record straight, January replied, “No, I didn’t. I said that someone I had previously dated didn’t encourage my acting, not that I couldn’t.
“I don’t know if that person ever actually saw me perform.”
“Understood,” Andy said.
January continued, “But the person who wrote the interview did the math and thought it might be him, but I never actually said who it was.”
Turning her attention to Ashton, she said, “But I haven’t spoken to him, but I’m super happy for him and his family, being political and all.”
Desperate for answers, Andy then immediately asked if it was indeed Ashton she was talking about, but January didn’t answer and just laughed.
January got her acting break in the 1999 film It’s the Rage, starring Joan Allen, Andre Braugher, Josh Brolin and Jeff Daniels.
That same year, she also appeared in the television show Get Real, a teen comedy-drama that lasted only one season.
January’s biggest role so far was undoubtedly in the hit show Mad Men, which ran from 2007 to 2015.
In the series, January played Betty Draper, a role that earned her nominations for two Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress in a Television Series Drama and a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
Ashton has been married to actress Mila Kunis since 2015 and the couple share two children: daughter Wyatt Isabelle, 10, and son Dimitri Portwood, seven.
January’s current relationship status is unknown.
