Janet Street-Porter, 77, shared a health update Thursday from rehab as she continues to recover from her hip surgery.
Earlier this week, she assured her fans that she was recovering well with a beaming selfie from her hospital bed.

The panel host had a panic button around her neck which she joked about in her caption.

The latest update follows Janet’s hospital bed selfie that she shared with her 45,000 followers.
Janet, dressed in a hospital gown and breathing tube, smiled at the camera with her signature maroon hair and black glasses and appeared to be recovering well.
She captioned the post: ‘Three hours after hip replacement, masses of strong pain relief resulted in a big smile of relief! Then the drugs disappeared… but I’m walking in a cart HURRA XX!
And a host of famous friends rushed to the comments to send their well wishes.
The health update comes after Janet revealed to viewers last week that she was taking a break and admitted she was feeling nervous about the procedure, but appears to be recovering well.
Katie Piper wrote: “So happy to see you smiling and walking now.”
While Martin Kemp wished Janet a speedy recovery and commented: ‘Get well soon Janet!!! Mx’.
Janet’s Loose Women co-star Ruth Langsford said she was excited to see the journalist back on the show with her.
She wrote: ‘It’s done Janet! It’s good to see you smile (even if it’s the drugs!!). I miss you…we’ll be back soon!’
The broadcaster told viewers last week that it would be taking a break.
Just minutes into the episode, presenter Christine Lampard told viewers it was her colleague’s “last day for a while”.
Janet told viewers and her fellow panellists Christine, Coleen Nolan and Katie Piper that she was very worried about going under the knife.
After Janet posted the hospital selfie to reassure fans, a host of famous friends took to the comments to send their well wishes, including her co-star Ruth Langsford.
Just minutes into the episode, presenter Christine Lampard told viewers it was her colleague’s “last day for a while” as Coleen Nolan (pictured) presented Janet with a gift basket.
She said: ‘I can’t think of anything else. As I sit here, I’m shaking and my hands are cold. I keep dreaming about it.
“I’ll go to the hospital on Friday, have surgery on Friday afternoon, stay in the hospital for a few days and then really work on rehab and physical therapy so I can come back as soon as possible.”
Her co-star Coleen admitted it was “really sad” that Janet was going through a difficult time with her health.
She said: ‘You always adopt a tough attitude and nothing bothers you. And then at one point today you said, ‘I’m really scared,’ and I could have cried my eyes out.’
