Janelle Monae goes topless for Rolling Stone as she promotes her new album The Age of Pleasure: ‘I’m much happier when my t**ties are off’
Janelle Monae wasn’t afraid to bare her chest on the cover of magazine Rolling Stone.
The 37-year-old artist – who recently wore a wet T-shirt to promote her new single Lipstick Lover – seemed to have no qualms about posing topless for the outlet, delicately placing her hands over her bare breasts.
“I’m much happier when my tits are out and I can run free,” she explained.
The Billboard Music Award winner looks like a queen, with long gold chains for tendrils. There were diamonds interspersed among the shoulder-length jewelry.
She was styled in natural-looking makeup to show off her beauty.

The Make Me Feel artist hasn’t released an album in five years.
But said she was inspired to make new music while in Greece working on the Netflix murder mystery film Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.
Prior to taking on the role, Janelle and her friends had been throwing outdoor parties during the pandemic shutdown and she found herself feeling lonely.
She had producers Wonder and Kwabena send her instrumentals to listen to during her time off. “I kept dreaming,” she explained.
“I was like, ‘When I get back, can’t wait to throw another party?'” she commented.
The Critics’ Choice See Her Award winner included many guest artists on the new release, including Jamaican dancehall legend Sister Nancy, actress Nia Long and Ghanaian-American singer Amaarae, CKay and Doechii.
