Jane Seymour and John Zambetti have their children to thank for finding new love in their lives.
While attending the 12th annual Wags and Walks benefit gala on Saturday, the new couple opened up and confessed that it was their children who framed them.
“Well, our children brought us together,” Zambetti, 73, said. People, which was confirmed by Seymour himself: ‘Yes, our children brought us together.’
“So we certainly don’t have to worry about the kids not approving who we were with,” the musician and composer added. “I’m very lucky to be with her.”
The British-born actress, 72, went on to tell how Zambetti “wrote some love songs for me.” He’s a songwriter. I think that ultimately really affected me.”

Zambetti then rejoined the conversation, saying he wrote the songs “just to seal the deal,” prompting the former OO7 Bond Girl to joke, “Yes. Three so far. I think an album is on the way.”
The couple believes fate played a role in their coming together, as their sons both share a musical background, which they say led them to each other.
‘His son is a very successful rock musician with the group The Palms. And his name is Johnny Zambetti,” Seymour told the publication. “And I have a son who is also a rock musician, Johnny Keach, so when we talked about them we said ‘My Johnny,’ (since) they both have the same name.”
Just two days before the event, Seymour posted a photo of the handsome new couple posing with Zambetti’s musician son Johnny.
“Meet John’s remarkable son, @johnnyzambetti! I’ve known him since he was 13, can you believe it? Johnny just told me his band @thepalmsmusic has over 150 million streams on @Spotify! I added a link to them in stories and to their video if you want to check them out!,” she wrote. ‘Always fun to see how they grow up.’
The native of Uxbridge, Middlesex, England, who has been married and divorced four times, has four children: Katherine Flynn, 41, and Sean Flynn, 38, with her third ex-husband David Flynn, and twins John Keach, 27, and Kristopher Keach, 27, with fourth ex-husband James Keach.
Now both in their 70s, Seymour and Zambetti have made music a central part of their social lives.
“I have a lot of friends in town who are musicians. We love going to see them play,” the Washington, DC native revealed, before adding, “And she never really went to the dives to see, that’s where the real music is. That’s where the real players play. So she loves it. She likes to go everywhere and she likes music.”

He admitted that he likes to introduce her to things that, even though she’s lived here for a long time, she really didn’t know about that side of LA.
Seymour and Zambetti didn’t become Instagram official until October 1, when she posted a few photos of them poolside together.
“I’ve never been happier,” the Somewhere In Time star gushed in the caption.

For the second photo, the musician and songwriter gave his new love a kiss on the side of her head while putting a big beaming smile on her face.
‘I am having the happiest time of my life. In many ways,” Seymour said during the interview with People.
The Wedding Crashers actress went on to reveal how she and Zambetti have been celebrating their anniversary every month since becoming an item.
“You’re not going to wait fifty years this time in your life, are you?” Seymour said of their romance.
