Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner reveal that they changed the name of the newborn son from Hayes to Hendrix
Last Wednesday they welcomed their second child, son, Hayes Douglas Hehner.
And after just a few days, Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner of Married At First Sight have announced that they have changed their baby’s name.
The couple took to Instagram Live to reveal to their legion of followers that they had now changed his name to Hendrix Douglas.

“The moment we had our son, the moment he came out, even before that, the first time I looked at him, I almost called him Hendrix,” said Jamie.
“We called his Hayes before we met him. We both also really liked the name Hayes. ‘
Doug later added that he accidentally and coincidentally mentioned Hayes Hendrix during his birth.

His new and more fitting name is also a connection to Jonathan – the son who gave birth to Jamie at 17 weeks in 2016.

33-year-old Otis and 36-year-old Hehner met in the first season of Lifetime’s Married at First Sight in 2014.
They announced they were expecting a son last September.
