The iconic actress, 65, best known for her portrayal of Laurie Strode in several films in the Halloween franchise, said she stepped away from celebrating the macabre holiday in a shocking announcement.

He added that his decorating plans were ‘Nothing. Zipper.’
‘My children are old enough to not want me to decorate them. So no, I’m just gently stepping into the darkness.

The iconic actress, 65, best known for her portrayal of Laurie Strode in several films in the Halloween franchise, said she stepped away from celebrating the macabre holiday in a shocking announcement.
He also revealed that he won’t be watching his own horror movies on Halloween, joking: “No, what kind of life do you think I have?”
Jamie made her debut as Laurie in 1978’s Halloween and last appeared in 2022’s Halloween Ends.
In the original film, babysitter Laurie was stalked by masked killer Michael Myers.
The synopsis read: “On a cold Halloween night in 1963, six-year-old Michael Myers brutally murdered his 17-year-old sister Judith. He was sentenced and locked up for 15 years.
But on October 30, 1978, while being transported for a court date, 21-year-old Michael Myers steals a car and escapes from Smith’s Grove. He returns to his quiet hometown of Haddonfield, Illinois, where he searches for his next victims.
The actress previously admitted that saying goodbye to her alter ego was “very hard.”
In a behind-the-scenes clip from Entertainment Weekly, an emotional Jamie said: “The whole concept of a horror movie is to stimulate the emotions, and its filmmaking does the same.
“So having done it three times with a group of people and knowing that I’m not going to be able to do it again with that same group of people has really been very difficult for me.
She told People: ‘I’ve retired my pumpkins. I’ve hung up my butcher knives. I have moved away from the vehicle. I bow gently to others who are taking up the mantle (pictured in Halloween Ends)
