Jamie Lee Curtis gives all the love to her former co-star and mother-to-be Lindsay Lohan.
The Everything Everywhere Everything at once star took to Instagram on Thursday to share her excitement about the Mean girls actress, writes: “My girlfriend and movie daughter @lindsaylohan is growing up! So happy for her. What a mama she will be.”
Curtis also posted a carousel of photos from Lohan’s recent baby shower, in which the actress showed off her baby bump in a bright orange dress, surrounded by friends and loved ones.
The duo is best known for playing mother and daughter in the iconic 2003 film Crazy Friday. The film followed Curtis’ Tess and Lohan’s Anna as they try to work through their troubled relationship. But when things don’t go well, they wake up one morning and find themselves inside each other’s bodies. As they work to get switched back, they are also forced to adjust to the other’s life, eventually drawing them closer.
In March, The parent trap star revealed that she and her husband, Bader Shammas, are expecting their first child. That is what the representative of the actress told The Hollywood Reporter that she “looks forward to this next chapter.”
At the time, Lohan also shared a picture on her social media of a baby onesie with the words “soon…”. She tagged Shammas and wrote in the caption, “We are blessed and excited.”
Last year, the Confessions of a Teen Drama Queen actress confirmed that she and Shammas had married after announcing their engagement the year before.
