Jaime Lee Curtis admitted that Lindsay Lohan was in ‘mom mode’ on the set of Freakier Friday.
The actress, 65, who was recently seen filming the long-awaited sequel, gave a scoop to People about filming and reuniting with his on-screen daughter, on Saturday.
“Everything was fun, from every aspect,” he told the outlet of working with the 38-year-old.
This comes a year after Lohan welcomed her first child, Luai, in July 2023 with her husband Bader Shammas.
Curtis said Lohan was “always” in “mom mode,” admitting that she “just loves it.” “It’s actually really hard to get her out of mom mode.”

Although the fiery-haired actress never brought her son to set during filming, Curtis shared that Shammas “picked her up from work almost every day.”
“Bader and Luai came and (waited for her) in her trailer, and then they all went home together,” she gushed.
While at Disney’s D23 fan event to promote the film in August, the couple were asked who they would like to swap bodies with, like in their hit movie, and Lohan said her baby.
“Maybe my baby,” Lohan responded. ‘Just to see, because he is so pure and so happy, just to see life through his eyes, every day. He is just this beautiful bundle of joy. I can’t think of anything else.’
And Curtis said she would like to live like WNBA star Caitlin Clark, saying, “I want to play basketball like Caitlin Clark.” She is my lucky number, 22.
In 2021, Lohan announced via social media that she was engaged to Shammas after three years of dating. She wrote on Instagram saying: ‘My love. My life. My family. My future.’
The couple married on April 3, 2022 and embarked on a luxurious honeymoon in Türkiye with the financier.
Less than a year later, on March 14, 2023, about five months pregnant, the actress shared that she was pregnant.

At the time, she posted a photo of a baby onesie that said “coming soon…” along with the caption, “We are blessed and excited.”
Although Disney has yet to confirm an official release date, fans should expect to see Freakier Friday in theaters sometime in 2025.
Filming for the sequel began in June of this year and production wrapped at the end of August.
