Jamie Foxx’s daughter Corrine Foxx offered a brief update on her father’s health, more than a year after a terrifying health scare.

The 56-year-old actor was filming scenes for his new movie Back in Action when he was hospitalized in April 2023 for a condition that has not yet been revealed.

Just over a year later, Foxx was seen resuming production on the Netflix film, which is scheduled to premiere on November 15.

His daughter Corrine, 30, who stars alongside her father on the Fox series Beat Shazam, told ET that she’s doing “amazing” while taking up a new hobby: pickleball.

‘He’s doing very well, he’s doing incredible. Am Very grateful to be able to work on (Beat Shazam) with him and spending a lot of time with him,” he said.

‘He’s playing a lot of pickleball! That man and pickleball; It’s like he’s playing twice a day every day,” he said.

Corrine added about her father’s new obsession with pickleball: ‘It’s a whole thing. He’s totally into it.’

Corrine recently got engaged to Joe Hooten and revealed how her fiancé won over her father during a trip to Hawaii.

‘We were in Hawai’i on a snorkeling tour and none of my family knows how to swim. So, we’re all in the middle of the ocean (and) everyone starts drowning,’ she began.

‘One by one, my fiancé dived in, brought some back, dived in and brought some back. My dad said, “He’s a guardian! He saved the family,” Corrine recalled.

He recently returned to work on both Beat Shazam and his Netflix film Back in Action, which was cut short by his mysterious affliction.

Foxx stars as Matt alongside Cameron Diaz as Emily, who came out of retirement to star in the film, her first since 2014’s Annie, also starring Foxx.
