His daughter, Corinne Fox, revealed on Wednesday that Jamie Foxx had to be taken to the hospital after suffering an undisclosed medical emergency.
In a statement attributed to the actress’s family on her Instagram account, they wrote that the 55-year-old actress had suffered ‘medical complications’ that required her to be hospitalized.
The family also said in the statement that Fox was now “on the road to recovery,” though they did not disclose what medical problem he was suffering from.
But a source described the case to TMZ In more serious terms, they called it a “medical emergency,” though they said Foxx is now “communicating” again.
“We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced medical complications yesterday (Tuesday),” the family’s statement began.
