‘He’s one of the best passers-by in world football … his appreciation for where players are is fantastic’: Jamie Carragher greets Tottenham striker Harry Kane after excellent assist for Son Heung-min’s opener against West Ham
Jamie Carragher praised Harry Kane as ‘one of the best passers in world football’ after the great assist of the Tottenham forward during the Heung-Min Son opener against West Ham.
The England captain started the game in London in fine form, pushing his team-mate in for his seventh assist of the season before scoring two himself to prepare Spurs 3-0 in 16 minutes.
Kane has long been a prolific goalscorer, but has received rave reviews this season for his good passing, which put him at the top of the assistant lists, and Carragher went so far as to say he is one of the best in the game.
‘Harry Kane is one of the best passers-by in world football, I think. I’m not just talking about the assists he’s gotten over the past few games, ”said Carragher as he co-commented for Sky Sports.
‘When the balls get into him, his appreciation for where players are is fantastic.’
