James Woods has revealed that his Pacific Palisades home is “still standing” after believing it had been destroyed in the catastrophic Los Angeles fires that started earlier this week on Tuesday.
It comes just two days after the actor, 77, collapsed during an interview with CNN after being evacuated. He had also shared videos of the inferno moving rapidly towards his home on a hill in the community.
However, on Friday, Woods gave an update by uploading a clip to X to share that “a miracle has occurred” and that the property had survived the flames.
While standing on the deck, he panned the camera to the views below, showing that most of the neighboring structures and homes had been burned to the ground in the Palisades Fire, which has spread across 20,000 acres as of Friday, according to NBC News.
James also pointed out landmarks, such as a school, that once stood but has now been destroyed.
He then turned the camera to show another part of the backyard while others also helped put out small flames with buckets of water.
