James Middleton has given fans a glimpse of his sprawling country garden in Berkshire.

The Princess of Wales’ younger brother, 36, shared an adorable video on Instagram to mark National Puppy Day to advise dog owners on how to welcome puppies into their homes.

The father-of-one filmed himself alongside his dog Isla and several adorable Labrador puppies as he ran around his sprawling family garden, which he shares with his wife, Alizeé and little son Inigo.

The video came just two days after James shared a sweet tribute to his sister, Kate, following the shocking news that she was being treated for cancer.

In the clip, James said: “Happy National Puppy Day! There is a minefield of information on how you should prepare to bring a puppy home for the first time.

“With a pack of six dogs and several litters under my belt, check out the link in my bio for my best tips for welcoming your new puppy home.”

At the end of the clip, James snuggles up to his dog Isla and says: “I don’t think you’re a puppy anymore, do you?”

Besides Isla, James and his wife Alizee share their home with dogs Zulu, Inka, Luna, Mabel and Nala.

James always had a strong passion and love for dogs after they helped him with his battles with depression.

Earlier this month he even revealed he was writing a book dedicated to his beloved spaniel Ella – who died in January last year – and that he “saved her life when he was overshadowed by clinical depression.

In a video on Instagram, he held the first manuscript in his hands as he announced that Meet Ella: The Dog Who Saved My Life would be released in September.

He also revealed how much the dog meant to him in some of his darkest moments.

“I was heartbroken and we had such a journey together, from the first breath to the last,” he told viewers.

James shared a childhood photo with the princess on a hike on Instagram, saying: “Over the years we have climbed many mountains together. As a family we will also climb this one with you.

Royal fans were quick to react, highlighting how entrepreneur James will now support Kate in the same way she stood by him in his battles with depression.

James recently welcomed his first child, a son named Inigo, with his French wife Alizée.

He also explained how Kate and Pippa had both attended therapy sessions alongside him as support.

“My sisters came to some of my therapy sessions,” he said. “They have always been there in difficult times and they have also been by my side in the most difficult times. For this, I will be eternally grateful to you.

Now it’s Kate’s turn to lean on the Middleton family for support, and her parents Carole, 69, and Michael, 74, appear to have been very present.

The couple, along with Kate’s siblings Pippa Matthews and James, have supported the royal’s recovery at her Windsor home, close to their own home.
