James Martin’s Saturday Morning returned this weekend after its summer break.
However, things got a little awkward during the return episode after James had to give his guest a warning amidst the culinary chaos.
The 52-year-old TV chef welcomed restaurateur Asma Khan into his ITV kitchen as the pair cooked together.
However, as they began cooking, the two chefs seemed to clash a bit as Asma became concerned about the food crackling in a nearby pan.
Trying to reassure her, James intervened: “Don’t worry, I’m on it,” as Asma quickly responded, “I’m not stressing you out. I’m just watching to see what will happen.”

Diverting the conversation, James asked, “Do you want me to peel it for you?” to which she replied, “No, you don’t need to peel it.”
“I wouldn’t peel it,” James nodded as Asma jokingly added, “No, it’s not worth the trouble and there’s also a limit to how much I can torture you on your own show.”
The return of his Saturday morning cooking show comes after it was revealed that James took his relationship with new girlfriend Kim Johnson to the next level by enjoying a romantic holiday in France.
The former Saturday Kitchen presenter was pictured at bed and breakfast Le Jardin de Rose with personal trainer Kim this week, seven months after splitting from ex-partner Louise Davies.
Smiling with his arm around Kim, James wore a denim shirt and navy shorts for the couple’s relaxing break, where they visited the former country home described as “ideal” for sightseeing, fishing and walking.
James began dating Kim after splitting from his long-term girlfriend Louise, whom he was with for 12 years but never married, after admitting that marriage “doesn’t interest” him in the slightest.
Kim, the ex-wife of billionaire tech entrepreneur Arun Nayar, 59, rocked a floral dress as she cuddled up to James during their rustic staycation.
Bed and Breakfast owners Min and Barry were so impressed with James’ stay at their establishment that they posted their thanks on Facebook.
As James headed to check on Asma’s pan, she quickly replied, “I’m not stressing you out. I’m just watching to see what’s going to happen.”
Later, when James offered to peel it off, Asma joked: “No, it’s not worth the trouble and also there’s a limit to how much I can torture you on your own show” (pictured on This Morning in 2019).

James went public with his relationship with Kim in March when the pair were photographed shopping together in Mayfair, London.
They wrote: “Le Jardin de Rose may be just a small, quiet place in a semi-rural part of France, but we have fabulous guests. Thank you, James Martin.”
The couple also posed for photographs with James outside the picturesque home, which is surrounded by wheat fields, wooded areas and rivers.
A stay at the hotel costs a maximum of €89 per person per night, which includes a private bathroom and continental breakfast in the morning.
James went public with his relationship with Kim in March when the pair were photographed shopping together in Mayfair, London.
A spokesperson for James confirmed to MailOnline that he and TV producer Louise split in December last year.
They met on the set of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? in 2011, but decided not to marry during their 12-year relationship.
