Laughing in response to Kaye’s praise, James shared: ‘I’m watching you do your thing while I listen to music and you’re like a conductor. I can’t do what you do and I certainly can’t when I’ve also been with you on Loose Women.
“I certainly admire anyone who is able to do that.”
Detailing her on-screen struggle, she continued: “Strangely I can cook and talk at the same time, but presenting is still very difficult for me.
“I’m very dyslexic, so reading anything on an autocue is very hard work, so if I’m allowed to cook and chat, that’s where I feel at home.”
James previously spoke out about his dyslexia and revealed that he was not diagnosed until he was 30, after struggling for many years.
On his show earlier this year, James revealed the secret way he overcame his struggles while filming the cooking show.
Speaking to news presenter Lucrezia Millarini, he said: ‘Well, just like you read, I am severely dyslexic. I have this amazing woman called Sam, Sam (on the) autocue, who puts things in bigger letters for me so I can read them correctly.’

‘As we speak, the stitches have fallen out of my body right now and that’s all clear, onwards and upwards!’
James went public with his battle with cancer for the first time last year when his foul-mouthed rant against his television crew was exposed by an extraordinary leaked tape recorded shortly after his diagnosis.

He said: “Then I was diagnosed with cancer on my face and had to have surgery, which I didn’t get to do until two days before Christmas when we finished filming.” Since then it has returned several times and I have to receive regular treatments.’
