Ally Lewber gushed about what

Ally Lewber gushed about how “proud” she was of her boyfriend James Kennedy in an interview the day after her arrest for domestic violence.

Lewber spoke exclusively to DailyMail.com at the New Year’s Eve soiree with Windsor in Los Angeles, a day after Kennedy was arrested on misdemeanor domestic violence charges after arguing with an unknown woman.

The arrest came after Kennedy and Lewber attended Kathy Hilton’s Christmas party earlier that day.

Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com on Wednesday before news of the arrest broke, Lewber described how happy he was to see how far Kennedy had come in his career and his plans to welcome his family into his home for Christmas.

Lewber also revealed her career endeavors after Vanderpump Rules, and the show is now moving forward with a new cast for its upcoming twelfth season.

‘My family comes here. So James and I are hosting this year… I feel like an adult. Like my family was coming to see me,” said Lewber, who co-hosted the Windsor party.

“I bought them stockings with their initials on them, so when they come into the guest room, I’m going to make it all cute,” she said.

The holiday comes shortly after Bravo announced they were moving forward with a new cast for Vanderpump Rules, replacing longtime stars with new faces.

Lewber said they felt the reorganization would come before the shock announcement.

“We knew it was going to be different,” he said. ‘I don’t think we knew for sure how… oh, they kicked us out. But we knew it would come. I think it was just seeing the fans’ reactions that made it seem so real.

Lewber said James handled the departure in a “mature” manner.

“Like James, the way he handled it was very mature, because we talked about it a lot and I think we both decided that this didn’t fit our lifestyle. We already knew that.

“And even in the last few months, before we realized it, and it feels like looking for drama,” he said.

‘I actually feel excited about the future and have no anxiety. I’m like, okay, cool: you want to be a DJ, I want to do astrology. “We’re grateful because obviously we’ve all seen James from where he is at the beginning to where he is now.”

Ally said she was “proud” of her boyfriend, who is now a DJ after starting his reality TV career as a waiter on SUR.

‘We all knew James at the beginning, you know where he was, he was a bus boy, and he’s worked to get to where he is now and I know he’s proud of himself. I’m proud of him.’

And the astrologer believes the elimination is generally “a good thing” for the cast, adding that all the stars will be “fine” after the shakeup.

‘I think overall it’s a really good thing… they’re a family, you know? And I feel like I’m a little apart from that. They are a family and have been through a lot together. I feel like it is, it’s just a change. It’s a big change. Everyone will be fine. Everyone is going to be fine. It’s time.

‘The universe made the decision, it is what it is. Drama free? “It’s a good thing,” he said.

Lewber suggested that Scheana Shay was particularly emotionally affected by the firing.

“I talk to Scheana more. I haven’t seen it in person, so it’s hard to really gauge the true emotions. I think we’re all a little bit… I think we all feel the same. “I think Scheana is probably the most… sensitive,” he said. She and James are, I would say, the most emotional and sensitive. And she will be fine, she knows it.

“But it’s still a little bit, wow, we have to say goodbye to this whole era,” she said, adding that she was moved to see fans’ reaction to her departure.

“The fans, everyone making all those tweets and stuff, I was looking at them, it made me cry,” he said. “That’s so sweet.”

As for a potential future on the Vanderpump Rules spinoff The Valley, Ally said that wasn't in the cards.

Ally felt that this would not be the last time viewers would see Kennedy.

‘I think James will find his way back to the screen. I told him, ‘You were made for TV. You’re made for the stage. DJing, reality, wherever that is. I think that’s where he’s destined. And definitely DJing, I think he’s really excited to really focus on that.’

“He has one more full year at LIV nightclub at the Fountainbleu,” he said. ‘And then he’s on tour with Pauly D… They’re doing a bit of a collaboration. I think it will only be for two months, the first half of next year.’ she said. “And then he goes into making music.”

“He was in the studio yesterday, he was in the studio today, working with different DJs, so he’ll like to release music,” he added.

“I don’t think it’s for us,” he said. “I will never say never, we never know what will happen in the future.”

Despite the uncertain television future, professionally Ally will stay busy with her astrology business and a “big” project she plans to announce shortly after the new year.
