‘It is an absolutely horrible disease. Cancer is terrible no matter what cancer it is, but a brain tumor in particular takes away a lot of that person’s identity.
Brain tumors are the leading cause of death in children and adults under 40. Of the £ 600 million raised in the UK, less than 3% goes to funding brain tumors for treatments.
“I want to change that because I don’t want you guys to experience what me and my family went through.”

“For the past 4 months, my hero and best friend in the world has been in and out of hospital in very poor health.
‘We were told several times that he had a 100% stroke and so they struggled to control his attacks … but after the third time I was hospitalized I knew something wasn’t quite right .
So after pushing for more tests and the results sent to Kings College Hospital for other surgeons to view, the results unfortunately came back that it wasn’t a stroke after all.
Troubled Time: James revealed his beloved father was diagnosed with terminal cancer in July, after four months of health problems and trips to hospital
‘It was what I feared, my father has a tumor and after a biopsy it came back to be an aggressive cancer. Unfortunately the worst kind.
‘We have been told that it is not advisable to operate because of where the tumor is located and that it actually wouldn’t make as much of a difference if they could.
The end result is: it’s terminal. They say we might be lucky with chemotherapy and radiotherapy and get him a year.
As I write this, tears are streaming down my cheeks because I am sure many of you have the same love for your parents. This is truly the worst time of my life. ‘
