James, 42, has been seen beating recommended foods, many of which are traditional Asian delicacies but presented as “disgusting” on the show.
The latest: James Corden, 42, is under pressure to cancel a segment of his show titled Spill Your Guts, amid complaints that the segment is capitalizing on “incredibly culturally abusive and insensitive” tropes about Asian culture
The petition reads: ‘The food on offer is intended to be ‘cheeky’, as it should encourage the guest to answer their questions. However, much of the food he presents to his guests comes from different Asian cultures.’
It stated that the host “presented foods such as balut, ancient eggs and chicken feet, which are often eaten by Asian people.” During these segments, he openly referred to these foods as “really disgusting” and “horrific.”
The impassioned prose continued: “In the wake of the constant Asian hate crimes that happen all the time, this segment is not only incredibly culturally offensive and insensitive, but it also encourages anti-Asian racism…
“So many Asian Americans are consistently bullied and mocked for their native foods, and this segment reinforces and encourages it…

Last month, President Joe Biden criticized the “ugly poison” of racism “plaguing” the United States and then signed the anti-Asian hate crime law at the White House.
The petition noted that “during these segments, [Corden’s] openly called these foods “really disgusting” and “horrific”‘
He called the two-pronged passage of the legislation “perhaps the first break, the first significant break, at a time in our history that needs to be reversed.”
The White House invited 68 people to the ceremony, including Republican lawmaker Senator Susan Collins, as well as relatives of Heather Heyer, the young activist who was run over by a white supremacist in Charlottesville, and Khalid Jabara, a Lebanese immigrant shot by his neighbour.
James’ latest twist to hit the headlines comes just weeks after he was subjected to widespread criticism for hosting the Friends reunion.
