James and Julia have been married since 2012 and have three young children.
Their outing comes after James recently revealed that he hates sports despite his lifestyle overhaul.
The Late Late Show host explained how when he gets off work, he just wants to “lie down” and not work up a sweat and hit the gym.
James said on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show in July, “I feel like I’m getting better. I’m trying, but I feel like there’s still a way to go. I’ve lost just over 35 pounds.
James admitted he was “not a fan” of going to the gym, saying, “I’m trying, but I’m bad at it. I’m so bad at it. It’s terrible. There are so few hours in the day that are mine alone, you know what I mean?’
‘I have three young children. We got the show and all this stuff. I’m like, ‘Wait a minute. I’ve got an hour here where I’m alone, and I’m doing something I absolutely hate.” I should just lie down.”
James also joked that he doesn’t like using personal trainers, saying, “I don’t trust them. I don’t think they want me to lose weight quickly’.
The star continued to explain that he had “burned out” about 75 of them before concluding that he was being paid by the hour, which made them uninterested in quick results.
