James ‘Arg’ Argent continued to improve his fitness by going swimming at Hackney Reservoir on Tuesday.
The former TOWIE star, 33, looked happy and healthier as he enjoyed the sunny weather by taking a dip at the West Reservoir Center in London.
Arg recently had stomach surgery after his weight climbed to 27 stones, and has since lost four stones following the procedure.

He was seen wearing orange swimming trunks and a red swim cap for the occasion, as he resolutely continued his fitness journey.
Arg is currently preparing to compete in two open water challenges, the John West Great North Swim and the John West Great East Swim, in June.
The first will see Arg swim at Brockhole, while the second will take place at Alton Water in Suffolk.
On Wednesday, Arg said of the benefits of the sport: ‘Swimming is like meditation for me and being in the pool gives me a chance to clear my head and focus on swimming alone.

On Wednesday, Arg (pictured with Ferne McCann) said of the benefits of the sport: ‘Swimming is like meditation for me and being in the pool gives me a chance to clear my head’
“I have great ambitions to swim across the English Channel, and from Europe to Africa, and I know that the John West Great Swim Series is hosting two fantastic events in Lake Windermere and Alton Water, which will be the perfect stepping stone to help me to realize dreams.
“I’m really looking forward to being back in the pool to start my training again, and I can’t wait to compete in both swimming events in June.”
The former TOWIE star spoke about his weight and losing four stone last month during an appearance on Channel 4’s Steph’s Packed Lunch, where he showed off his slimmer figure.
He thought, ‘I’m four bricks lighter now. It’s a very good start. Four out of eleven or twelve may seem like a drop in the ocean, but I’m glad I’ve already made some progress.

“I already feel so much happier, I feel healthier, I’m lighter on my toes, I’m more confident. I really like life right now.’
James also spoke of how he weighed 27 stones prior to his surgery, saying he “felt horrible” during the period.
He explained: ‘It felt terrible, I always felt extremely uncomfortable, I couldn’t look at myself in the mirror.
“It felt depressing and it just wasn’t me. Now I’m starting to feel like myself again and I’m curious what the future will bring.’

The reality star continued: “It was scary being 27 stone… It was serious, doctors told me how dangerous it was… I knew it was something I had to tackle pretty quickly.”
Arg is currently on a mission to lose six stones by Christmas after undergoing stomach surgery.
James reportedly hopes to “lose at least a stone every month between now and 2022” and will enlist the help of good friend and fitness fanatic Mark Wright.
Mark, 34, has told James he can join him at the gym anytime.
A source told The sun“It’s a lot, but he’s determined to do it because he feels so much healthier after his surgery. He gets a lot of support from Mark.’
Mark has reportedly given James not only exercise advice but tips for following a healthy eating regimen, and James will take Mark up on his offer and join him to the gym “soon.”
Earlier this year, Arg took to Instagram to share a photo of himself wrapped in a towel while in a lido, explaining to fans how he takes care of himself after surgery.
He wrote: ‘It is extremely important that I continue to take good care of myself, not only physically but also mentally, after such a major surgery and life change!’
