Jameela Jamil’s musician boyfriend slams ‘disgusting’ trolls for accusing her of Munchausen syndrome
Musician James Blake shot back to trolls who relentlessly mocked his girlfriend “The Good Place” actress Jameela Jamil about her complex health problems and accused her of the apparent “Munchausen syndrome.”
Jamil, 33, who is also a mental health and body image activist, became the target of an intense barrage of abuse this week after enumerating health issues that have begun to question followers, including a ‘cured’ peanut allergy, have cancer twice and recovering from a car accident that put her in a wheelchair.
Blake, who’s been with Jamil since 2015, went to Twitter on Friday to talk about Jamil’s treatment, to make a list of the many complications he has seen her suffer and the chances she has refused because of her poor health .
He also hit a hit on Brooklyn-based writer Tracie Egan Morrissey who placed for the first time that she believed the actress had Munchausen’s syndrome, also known as a fictional disorder.
Musician James Blake and actress Jameela Jamil have been in the public eye since 2016, but started dating a year earlier in 23015, when she was still a radio presenter at the BBC
Blake, 31, posted the message on Twitter with the statement: “I would have talked about this before, but Jameela asked me not to do this. Read x ‘
The main message was that it was “disgusting” to have to look at the abuse that Jamil suffered. He outlined the various health problems he had seen the actress suffer.
He added that Jamil had “such a difficult life” and was just trying to give back “to help other people with her privilege,” where he literally thought those who, according to him, were Tahani of The Good Place , “explodes.
“It’s pretty disgusting to see that the woman I love is just piled up every day for such ridiculous things,” he shared.
‘She has not sold dangerous products to children. She didn’t abuse anyone. She has not financed anything dangerous or intentionally damaged a marginalized group. She has just done her best as an ever learning person, like most of us, to help other people with her privilege.
“She does this because she has had such a difficult life. Because she doesn’t want others to feel alone, gas-lit or ashamed as she is. I am there for her swollen joints, her dislocations, her serious allergic reactions, her constant high fever. I was there for her concussion, her three-month epilepsy, when the doctor diagnosed her with cancer and before all her surgery felt the lumps in her back from the car accident and saw all the scars. I am there when she refuses great jobs because of her health limitations. I actually live with her. That she is attractive, long and successful does not mean that she has not been ill. ”
James Blake writes a long defense of his girlfriend Jameela Jamil after trolls accused her of inventing health problems and questioned her about a peanut allergy and car accidents
“Ehlers Danlos syndrome is a very real, very debilitating condition,” he explained.
“More and more people are discovering that they have it, but because it is a huge investigation and the patients, as with most invisible handicaps, look good, people are constantly in doubt and mocking those who suffer. May none of us ever know the pain and frustration of that existence.
“Many of you literally think she’s Tahani from The Good Place. You don’t know what her life is and life has been, “he shared. “But I do, and I am not there and some total strangers are pushing my girlfriend over the edge to what … is stopping her from helping children with eating disorders?” Stop removing the regular shame of talking about mental health?
‘What are you actually doing? And why do so many of you enjoy this? It is sick to see, and I never see men being treated the way we tear women ‘s limbs. “
Jamil responded to the tweet and said, “You are my best friend and my greatest love.” She later tweeted a picture of herself in her 20s and added, “One thing I will say is that this nonsense has sparked a really important conversation about how we gaslight people whose illnesses are not visible. Then they will say that I was not really suicidal depressed when I was in my mid-twenties, because there were pictures of me SMILING = proof! ”
Blake then hit the writer Tracie Egan Morrissey, who had taunted Jamil as a “stalker” for accusing her of Munchausen’s syndrome.
“Oh and FYI, the woman who is spreading these lies to my girlfriend, has started a Patreon so you have to pay her to hear them,” he said.
‘Literally benefiting from the exploitation and gaslighting of a young woman of color with a chronic illness. Cool.’
Jameela Jamil had an extensive debate with the writer who raised questions about the actress’s tumultuous health journey after jumping into the woman’s DMs this week.

Morrissey, the writer behind Pot psychology, took over her Patreon account to share that Jamil had sent her non-stop from Tuesday to Thursday.
She said that Jamil contacted her for the first time and that on one occasion she spent seven hours bombing her.
In the past, the actress – who is a mental health and body image activist – has shared personal information about being partially deaf as a child, ‘having cancer twice’, being wheel-chaired by one of the two car accidents, with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and can continue to film after ‘losing a tooth and breaking an elbow’ on the set.
Morrissey responded to Blake’s tweet and said, “Again, I only took screenshots and clips of Jameela’s own quotes, tweets and interviews, compiled them and showed inconsistencies. So if the “lies” that I spread are literally exact quotes from your girlfriend. “
The answer only escalated the feud further with Jamil who jumped into the conversation again.
“Dude, you lie straight,” she argued back.
“You claimed my car accident story was suspiciously different when I talked about TWO different car accidents, 13 years apart … SO that the bills were different. You are bad at research or you are deliberately trying to harm me. ”
