Jameela Jamil has called on Khloe Kardashian to no longer be part of the culture that makes girls ‘hate themselves’.
The 35-year-old actress Good Place said on Twitter on Thursday that Khloe must ‘admit’ that she ‘had surgery’ and ‘thin out’ her photos and videos.
The body neutrality activist spoke out after Khloe, 36, defended her attempt to kill an ‘unflattering’ unfiltered viral bikini photo.
Jameela focused on the reality star’s statement about her struggles with her body image and sympathized with Khloe being “ bullied ” in that state of mind, but also called on her for being part of the problem.

When she retweeted Khloe’s statement describing feeling ‘unbearable pressure’ to ‘be perfect’, Jameela added, ‘Here’s what I said. She was bullied in this state of mind.
“But this is also a really good time to admit surgery, thin out photos and videos, and stop being part of the culture that makes girls like her hate themselves.”
Referring to Khloe’s history of promoting nutritional supplements and her makeover show, Jameela continued, ‘No more diet products. No more ‘revenge body’.
If food culture wins, * everyone * loses the rest. Even the people who make money by promoting it. ‘
Frank: Jameela sympathized with Khloe being ‘bullied’ in that state of mind, but also exclaimed her for being part of the problem
Jameela has long been a critic of the Kardashian sisters, but has insisted that she doesn’t ‘hate’ Kim or Khloe.
In a 2019 interview with Glamor, the actress revealed that her stance against the sisters’ promotion of products like laxatives and ‘detox’ teas is nothing personal – she just believes in not using someone’s influence ‘irresponsibly’.
The British beauty told the magazine, ‘I don’t hate those girls. I just want them to stop selling laxatives, and then I’ll get rid of that bastard. That’s all I’m trying to do.
‘I’m not trying to attack anyone. But if you have a lot of power and influence and money, and you use yours irresponsibly, and other people don’t know they’re being sold a lie, then I’m gonna step on that bastard. ‘
Jameela, who herself struggles with eating disorders and uses nutritional supplements, said earlier of the sisters, “Their pockets are full of blood and teenage girls’ diarrhea …”
Stripping off: Jameela’s tweet comes after Khloe undressed for an Instagram video to defend her attempt to kill an ‘unflattering’ unfiltered viral bikini photo taken by her grandmother
Jameela’s tweet comes after Khloe stripped down for an Instagram video after her grandmother’s ‘unflattering’ unfiltered bikini photo went viral.
‘PS Yes, I did a live to show you that this is not photoshopped,’ Khloe captioned the slideshow. ‘Hey guys, this is me and my body untouched and unfiltered …
In reality, the pressure, constant ridicule, and judgment of my entire life to be perfect and live up to other people’s standards of what I should look like has been too hard to bear.
“Khloe is the fat sister.” “Khloe is the ugly sister.” “Her dad doesn’t have to be her real dad because she looks so different.” “The only way she could have lost that weight must have been surgery.” Should I continue?
Take it off: In an Instagram Live, Khloe took off her sweatshirt and rolled down her pants to reveal her figure, stating that this was ‘proven’ how she looked without photoshop
‘Oh but who cares how she feels because she grew up in a life full of privileges. She’s on a reality show too, so she signed up for it. Of course I am not asking for sympathy, but I am asking for recognition as a human being.
‘I am not perfect, but I promise you that every day I try to live my life as honestly as possible and with empathy and kindness.
‘It doesn’t mean I didn’t make mistakes. But I’m not going to lie. It’s almost unbearable trying to live up to the impossible standards the public has set for me.
Slammed: Jameela has spoken out about her dislike of stars promoting weight loss aids. In particular, she has made headlines with her public criticism of the Kardashian family
For over a decade, every flaw and imperfection has been micro-analyzed and mocked in photographs down to the smallest detail, and I am reminded of it every day by the world.
And if I take that criticism as motivation to get myself in the best shape of my life and even help others with the same struggles, I’m told I couldn’t have done it through hard work and that I have to have it it pays for everything.
‘You never quite get used to being judged and torn apart and told how unattractive someone is, but I’ll say, if you hear something enough, you’re going to believe it.
This is an example of how I have been conditioned to feel that I am not beautiful enough to be myself.
Speaking: Khloe described her struggles with body image in a lengthy statement on her account, in which she talked about the pressure to look a certain way
‘I like a good filter, good lighting and a montage here and there. The same way I put on some makeup, get my nails done or wear a pair of heels to present myself to the world as I want to be seen and that’s exactly what I’ll be unapologetically going to keep doing.
‘My body, my image and what I look like and what I want to share is my choice. It is no longer up to anyone to decide or judge what is acceptable or not.
For those who feel the constant pressure of never feeling perfect enough, I want you to know that I see you and that I understand. Every day I am told by my family and friends who love me that I am beautiful, but I know it must be believed from within.
‘We are all unique and perfect in our own way. Whichever way you choose to be seen. I have realized that we cannot live by trying to fit into the perfect form of what others have put in front of us. Just do it and make sure your heart is happy ‘.
The controversy all started after the original bikini photo hit social media last weekend.
The image in question shows Khloe standing by a pool wearing a skimpy leopard print thong bikini and looking unfiltered and non-airbrushed.
Shortly after it leaked online on various forums, members of the Kardashian PR team reported the posts as copyright infringement because the photo was posted without permission.
Picture perfect: The good American founder appears unfiltered and non-airbrushed in the leaked snap – and not as flawless as she appears in her social media photos (seen in a similar bikini in July 2020)
