He was once a rising rugby star at the $44,600-a-year private school Scots College.

But it all came crashing down for Jake Prindiville shortly after returning home from a holiday abroad at the end of 2023.

Following that trip, police allege Prindiville, 27, was involved in the supply of 12.27kg of cocaine between 5.10am and 5.30am in Ashfield, Sydney’s inner west, on October 5. from last year.

Court documents indicate that he was arrested at 2:30 p.m. the same day.

Burwood Local Court Magistrate Chris Halburd granted Mr Prindiville bail to attend rehabilitation in the Hunter region of New South Wales on $100,000 bail.

Prindiville has not yet entered a plea to the single charge, which carries a potential maximum penalty of life in prison.

He was unavailable when contacted for comment by Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday.

As part of his bail conditions, he must report to Burwood Police Station by telephone Monday to Friday each week.

According to social media, the former Double Bay personal trainer counts fellow Scot Hugo Ball as a close friend.

In 2021, Mr. Ball was attacked by his mother Samantha Palmer at his family’s $3 million home in Bellevue Hill.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Prindiville is a dedicated athlete and most recently worked in his family’s pet food business.

“I am playing rugby for the first time and I have a solid sports background,” he wrote.
