Jake Paul has added another MMA fight to his collection after knocking out former UFC star Mike Perry in six rounds on Saturday night.

Perry, a last-minute replacement for Mike Tyson after the boxing legend pulled out of his proposed showdown with Paul, put in a gutsy performance and even put the YouTube sensation’s chin to the test at times in a grueling contest.

While not an easy opponent to beat, the 32-year-old Bare Knuckle Fighting champion was no match for his 27-year-old foe in Tampa.

After knocking him down in the first and second rounds, Paul knocked Perry down to the point of no return with a blistering combination in the sixth.

Somehow, Perry managed to get back to his feet for the third time despite the devastating punishment he had just received.

However, as he staggered around the ring, the referee stopped the fight and Paul celebrated his final spectacular knockout.

His win over Perry means he is now clear to fight Tyson in November.

However, Paul was quick to pay tribute to his brave opponent that night for showing a lot of heart.

“It’s very tough,” he said of Perry. “I’m sorry it took so long. I hit him really hard, but he took a lot of damage. It’s a win, I’m very excited.”

In addition to telling Tyson to “sign the contract” ahead of their proposed fight in November, Paul also called out UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira.

“Alex Pereira, you said you wanted to box… I’m the king of this, come and we can make it happen,” he said.

‘I love you Alex Pereira.’

Paul has now racked up four consecutive wins since suffering the first defeat of his short professional career against Tommy Fury last year.

Perry is the fifth former UFC fighter he has defeated, following victories over Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren.

The online superstar’s next opponent will be former undisputed heavyweight champion Tyson, who will be 58 when he steps into the ring.
