Jade Roper wows as she shows off a 21-week baby bump … and reveals pregnancy hurt her ‘lady bits’
Jade Roper drives through pregnancy.
Bachelor In Paradise’s favorite was the image of happiness and health as she showed off her 21-week bump through Instagram Sunday in a sporty, chic athleisure look.
And while mom-of-two looked expectantly Jade as an egg, she really got bold in her caption, admitting, “My heartburn is bad and my female bits hurt.”
It’s a journey! Jade Roper shared a nice photo of her 21 week bump on Sunday, but she also had some not-so-nice things to say about pregnancy
“21 weeks tomorrow!” she wrote in the beautiful shot of her in powder blue leggings and a sports bra.
“I can now see the little squiggles of the baby on the outside of my stomach!” she wrote.
But not everything was rosy.
“I feel all kinds of symptoms (my heartburn is bad and my lady pieces hurt!), But always amazed and grateful for this small world that I can only share with the two of us.”
This is after the reality star opened up about the early term miscarriage she suffered between the birth of her first and second children.
Peaks and troughs: ‘I feel all kinds of symptoms (my heartburn is bad and my lady pieces hurt!), But always amazed and grateful for this little world that I can share between the two of us’
Opening her heart: This is after the reality star opened up about the early term miscarriage she suffered between the birth of her first and second children
Jade exposed her heart while answering questions to her Instagram story last Thursday, admitting the loss still makes her emotional.
“I … had a chemical pregnancy the month before I became pregnant with Brooks,” she explained.
A chemical pregnancy is an early pregnancy loss that occurs shortly after implantation, but before ultrasounds can detect a fetus. Still, it’s early for a pregnancy test to detect the levels of the hormone hGC.
It was a heavy loss for Jade, who said: “I don’t talk about it in public much, probably because I still cry even though a lot of time has passed, and it always strikes me that there is so much more under the surface.”
Full family: Jade and Tanner have two children and are expecting a third. Refreshingly, Jade has also been open about her past miscarriages
Roper said she and her husband Tanner Tolbert ‘lost a baby then [they] came together for the first time, ”something Jade had started earlier last year.
“We really got pregnant during pregnancy [Bachelor in Paradise], and we only found out when I was back in Kansas City to visit him, “said the reality personality at the time. “I just knew I was late and felt something else.”
Her theory was confirmed after a positive pregnancy test. She and Tanner made plans to live together, but soon after, she lost the baby.
“I didn’t really mourn at the time because I just didn’t really know how to handle it,” Jade continued.
Get Personal: Jade and husband Tanner are a Bachelor Nation favorite and meet in season two of Bachelor In Paradise (above in October 2019 above)
“It went so fast. In a very bad way, it was almost like a relief. It wasn’t until I had Emerson that I realized how much I love my child and how wonderful it is a miracle, and I think I grieved that child much later. ‘
Now Jade and Tanner are parents to two children, who are raising two-year-old son Emerson and eleven-month-old daughter Brooks. They are currently expecting their third child.
The Tolberts are one of the most happy stories of Bachelor Nation.
Neither found love as contestants on The Bachelor / Bachelorette, but sparks flew when the couple were introduced to each other in season two of Bachelor In Paradise and later their dream wedding was filmed for the show.
Love is in the air: the Tolberts are one of the happiest stories of Bachelor Nation, a meeting about Bachelor In Paradise and a marriage barely a year later
