Jade Goody’s widower Jack Tweed has revealed he will remarry his girlfriend Ellie Sargeant, 15 years after the death of his first wife.

Jack, 36, married Jade, who was 27 at the time, in a very emotional wedding ceremony, a month before she died of cervical cancer in March 2009.

But the TV star is ready to embrace a new chapter as he confirmed his intentions to marry his partner Ellie, 29.

speaking to Mirror, Jack said: ‘This is love again. I never thought I’d find it. But 15 years after Jade’s death, I feel like I’ve found love once again. I took my time, I couldn’t rush it.

He added: ‘I will always love Jade. That will never change. She was my first love. We shared so many happy and heartbreaking memories, especially over the past few months.

But I know she would want me to be happy, she told me that. I finally feel able to move forward. “It was about finding the right moment.”

Jack, who is now an electrician, didn’t hesitate to admit that marriage is “absolutely” something he is thinking about, in addition to having children.

He confessed that he hadn’t “felt right” about marriage since Jade died, as it was a “heartbreak” for both him and the public, admitting that time has “healed a lot.”

The former TV star met Ellie in 2022 through mutual friends in Essex, and the couple went public with their relationship in September of the same year.

Jack rose to fame in 2007 when he took part in Celebrity Big Brother alongside Jade, but after her death two years later, he suffered severe depression and turned to alcohol.

But things certainly took a turn for Jack, who admitted that Ellie knew it was going to be difficult to be in a relationship with someone who used to be the center of attention.

He now leads a more modest life and is looking forward to fatherhood, saying that having children “would be wonderful.”

A source previously told MailOnline: ‘Jack has really fallen for Ellie. They already share a close bond and are totally in love with each other.

“It’s still early, but my friends think they have a great chance of having a future together.”

Jack split from his ex-girlfriend Alee Jeffreys in 2021, whom he met on social media.

The former Celebrity Big Brother star said the relationship was the “most serious” since Jade’s death in 2009.

He previously admitted he found relationships difficult because he was “always comparing” his girlfriends to Jade.

She also had some kind words for her stepsons Bobby, 20, and Freddie, 19, as she gushed about their success in the spotlight and said they remind her a lot of Jade.

Earlier last month, Jack urged Bobby and Freddie not to take part in Celebrity Big Brother after revealing how life fell apart following his own appearance in 2007.

ITV producers hope to capitalize on the success of last year’s series by reviving its celebrity spin-off, six years after it aired on Channel 5.

He said: ‘My advice would be to stay away. Not worth it. Jade and I didn’t have a great experience. It ended in disaster.

“I didn’t feel comfortable at all in that experience. You feel very exposed. It’s constant. He feels trapped. We met some nice people but I wouldn’t recommend it.

‘This caused a lot of problems. If you asked me what I thought after doing it, I would say I avoided it.

“It was constant boredom. She would wake me up, shower me, and then ask me what to do next. It was heartbreaking at times. It was difficult.’

Jack said Jade’s two children are “flying” and appearing on the show wouldn’t be worth “taking the risk.”

She added: ‘Jade would be so proud of them both. I know who I am. That program caused big problems. It was a total nightmare.

“They are both doing brilliantly, it just wouldn’t be worth the risk.” I’m sure that will be the official advice they will receive as well.

‘These reality shows sound great for young people and young people, but they also have negative aspects. It’s not everything they should be.
